The official “Club Year” has ended.  More events will be scheduled for September 2026 through April 2027 soon.

Here are some unoffical suggestions that Rossmoor Camera Club members and friends may want to take advantage of:

May 18 – The Rossmoore Art Guild will hold an Art in the Garden event at the Leisure World Community Gardens, from 10:00 AM.  RAG members will be doing Plein Aire sketching and painting  of the approximately 200 garden plots, located near the PPD facility.  Please do NOT PARK in the garden.  There may be space in the Medical Center lot.  See

May 21 – The Leisure World Club Fair will be held in the Crystal Ballroom in Clubhouse 1 from 10:00 until noon.  Stop by and say hi to Rossmoor Camera Club members.

Saturday, June 13,  19th Annual Barnstormers Tour and Plein Air Paint Out “The Barns of Carrollton Manor”  10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  You must purchase a ticket – $20.00 per person. This is a great event for photographers too.  Gain access to several farms in Frederick County where you can wonder and photograph barns, farm implements, animals and more.  Click the link below for more information.

June 30  —  Blair will drive to Brookside Gardens primarily to photograph hummingbirds and butterflies.  Blair can take up to three additional photographers (that’s all his car will hold). Blair will depart from Clubhouse 2 at 9:00 AM, and return at approximately 11:30.  Prediction of chance of rain of 70% or greater the day before will CANCEL THE EVENT.  If you would like to join Blair please send him an email to blair.blankinship@gmail.com
