Maryland Photography Alliance (MPA)  Nomination Committee to announce four vacant offices

This notice is posted on behalf of the MPA  Nomination Committee to announce that “MPA has 4 offices on the ballot this year to fill.”

“There are 3 member- at -large positions and the position of secretary available this September.  The election will take place at the
September 15, 2026  MPA Board meeting.  I am looking for names of many people willing to serve on the MPA Board so a fair and open slate can be presented.”

“This is a unique opportunity for clubs to have a voice  on the MPA Executive Board !  The At-Large positions meet with the full board monthly via Zoom to discuss MPA events such as Artist Spotlight, Podcasts, Odyssey of Light etc.  Meetings are usually less than two hours.  The Secretary Position is more demanding and requires minutes for executive board meetings as well as the general monthly MPA meetings.  More info available upon request.”

The slate of officers is to be presented by August 12th.
“Club Reps can respond to me with questions or concerns but I really could use a name of someone who is interested in one of these positions.”

Sincerely,
Roz Kleffman
